broker.insure is a directory and marketing service. It is not an insurance broker, agent or adviser. It does not sell, quote, compare premiums for, bind or advise on insurance, and it never holds premium or client money.
How brokers pay
Where a request is passed to licensed brokers, those brokers pay a flat fee to receive requests. The fee is the same whether or not the request becomes a client. It is never a percentage of premium or commission and never contingent on a sale.
What you are told before you submit
Your request is sent to up to three licensed brokers who pay a flat fee to receive requests. broker.insure does not receive commission. You see which brokers received it and can withdraw from the confirmation.
Markets and operating modes
Each market runs in one operating mode per line of insurance. In information mode you can read, use tools and save needs; nothing is passed to a broker. Introduction mode passes requests to eligible brokers at a flat fee once that model is confirmed permitted in the market. Deeper intake and placement modes exist only under a verified licensed relationship and are labelled where they apply.
Verified means checked, not endorsed
A verified badge means the regulator's register showed an active licence matching the broker's name and number on the date shown. It says nothing about quality, specialism or suitability. The register is the authority.
